Nicolas Di Felice, artistic director of Courrèges, will lead the fashion jury at the 39th International Festival of Fashion, Photography, and Accessories — Hyères. The festival’s founder, Jean-Pierre Blanc, announced the details during Paris Couture Week, praising Di Felice's commitment to fashion.

Di Felice, a La Cambre Mode(s) graduate, expressed the significance of his role, following in the footsteps of fashion legends such as Anthony Vaccarello and Helmut Lang.

The festival, taking place from Oct. 10 to 13, will feature various activities at the Villa Noailles, including exhibitions and concerts. The accessories jury will be headed by Achilles Ion Gabriel, and Coco Capitán will lead the photography jury.

Di Felice, along with a diverse panel, will determine the winner among the 2024 finalists, who will compete for prestigious prizes, including the Première Vision Grand Prize and the Mercedes-Benz sustainable collection prize. The winners will receive support and materials from industry partners.

The Hyères fashion competition, known as a launchpad for designers, has played a pivotal role in shaping the careers of renowned talents. Di Felice emphasized the playful and 'image' aspect of the 2024 finalists, urging them to refine their designs before the competition.

Ion Gabriel's accessories jury includes notable figures like Rossy de Palma and Bottega Veneta’s design director Krzysztof Lukasik. The competition's challenges for accessories designers involve creating innovative pieces from dormant materials.

Photographer Coco Capitán, alongside a distinguished jury, will evaluate the top photographers, with the winner receiving the Grand Prix du Jury de la Photographie 7L and a collaboration opportunity with Chanel.

The Hyères Festival continues to be a platform where emerging designers can transform their careers, showcasing their talent and creativity on an international stage.
